Facilitated by the Embassy of Brazil in Malaysia and the Innovation Diplomacy Programme of the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation, these alliances underscore Malaysia’s commitment to becoming a global leader in semiconductor innovation and talent development.
The partnership between Malaysia and Brazil aims to enhance IC design and manufacturing, leveraging Malaysia’s dynamic semiconductor ecosystem and Brazil’s deep expertise in IC design.
It is anticipated to stimulate joint investments, facilitate technology transfer and position Malaysia as a regional hub for semiconductor excellence.
To further cultivate local talent, the Advanced Semiconductor Academy of Malaysia (ASEM) will be collaborating with ChipInventor to deliver industry-relevant training through initiatives such as the National Semiconductor Excellence Programme and the Global Semiconductor Exchange Programme.
These programmes aim to equip Malaysian students and professionals with essential skills in chip design, testing and verification, bolstering the nation’s aspiration to lead in high-tech manufacturing and innovation.
ChipInventor’s platform, hosted on AWS’s state-of-the-art infrastructure in Malaysia, enables secure, scalable, and high-performance chip design workflows.
