The Student Affairs Intern will play a vital role in providing clerical and administrative support to student activities, program coordination, and engagement initiatives. Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing student onboarding programs for new cohorts, including acting as an emcee during orientations and program launches. Support the organization of student events such as graduations, orientations, parent-teacher meetings, and extra-curricular activities. Facilitate student engagement by managing surveys, analyzing feedback, and providing insights for program improvement. Collaborate with academic teams to coordinate student attendance records, timetabling, and learning support activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, ensuring seamless progression pathways and program management. Serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience. Assist with content creation for program-related communications, event announcements, and student engagement initiatives.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Management, Business, Communications, Event Management, Language, Education, or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English. Confident public speaking skills with a positive and engaging on-camera or in-person presence (emcee experience is a plus). Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students, faculty, and stakeholders professionally. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva) is an advantage. Passionate about student engagement, education, and program coordination.
