ASEM is seeking a hands-on and motivated IT Support Specialist / Junior IT & Lab Systems Executive to support our growing technology and research infrastructure. This role involves maintaining computer systems, networks, EDA environments, and laboratory equipment for staff, students, and external researchers accessing our tools for prototyping and IC design. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain experience in IT infrastructure, semiconductor design systems, and lab management.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field. 1–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or infrastructure management. Basic understanding of Linux systems and willingness to learn EDA tool management. Familiarity with Fortigate, Ubiquiti, or equivalent networking tools is a plus. Knowledge of server setup, NAS, VPN, and cloud storage preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple technical areas. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Age below 35 years old.
Exposure to EDA environments (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA). Experience supporting engineering, R&D, or academic lab environments. Certification or ongoing learning in CCNA, RHCSA, or equivalent. Familiarity with Keysight, Tektronix, or similar lab instruments.
